SUSTAINABLE GAS EXTINGUISHING.
PYROinert contains a blend of Nitrogen, Argon and Carbon Dioxide as such have no pollution, ozone or global warming effect. When the components are released they simply resume their natural role in the atmosphere.
Containing no Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) or Synthetic Greenhouse Gases (SGG), PYROinert is exempt from these strict regulations and restrictions.
PYROinert fire systems are designed to detect smoke, release the extinguishment gas and suppress the fire before any significant damage occurs. Extinguishment of fire occurs by lowering the oxygen content to approximately 12% to 15% in the protected enclosure, below the level that supports combustion or re-ignition of fire. At this oxygen level, personnel present inside the protected enclosure would still be able to breathe.

VERSATILITY OF GAS BLENDS
PYROinert is stored in pressure cylinders (capacity of 80 litre each) with filling pressure flexible at either 200Bar or 300Bar and can be installed via single row or double row manifolds.
PYROinert has a variety of gas blends available as follows:
PYROinert inert gas cylinders can be stored centrally, up to 100 metres from the protected risks. This allows the flexibility to protect “Multiple Areas” by sharing cylinder banks making it far more cost effective when compared with chemical agent systems.
It is controlled by a releasing control panel with detection and signalling devices. The detection and signalling devices typically comprise of a number of ionisation, optical smoke detectors and rate-of-rise heat detectors, manual break glass units, visual status units, mechanical bells or/ and electronic sounder/ strobe units, shunts and interface facilities.
These devices are wired up to either a Conventional or Addressable extinguishing control panel located normally next to the main entrance into the risk area.
